A brief history of Teppanyaki

Teppanyaki is a Japanese cuisine, which uses iron cooking equipment with flat surface to cook food. Teppanyaki comes from the Japanese terms Teppanyaki (meaning iron plate, and yaki, meaning pan-fried, grilled, or broiled).

Therefore, the word "Teppanyaki" literally means to fry, barbecue or bake on the Teppanyaki. In addition, the inspiration of Teppanyaki comes from western food and oriental flavor.

One of the benefits of ordering Teppanyaki is its versatility. You can absolutely choose the ingredients you need, and even choose the amount and type of oil and seasoning.

Typical Teppanyaki foods include seasoned meat, fish or vegetables, usually at least soy sauce, vinegar, garlic and pepper, and are baked in vegetable oil. It can serve as a main course with multiple side dishes to match the main course:

1. Bake it on a flat surface.
2. It serves as a side dish with the main course.
3. It uses fish, vegetables or meat with vegetable oil and spices.
