Teppanyaki Table | Teppanyaki Roll Ice Cream Recipe

Unless you have enough cash reserves for your next trip to a city with roll ice cream, you can luckily satisfy your craving at home! This is an easy and delicious recipe that will impress people of all ages!

EQUIPMENT

2 spatulas
1 silicon spatula
1 sheet teppanyaki table

INGREDIENTS

1 pint heavy cream
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
Toppings/toppings of your choice

INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a medium bowl, combine the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture is homogeneous. This is the ice cream base.

2. Pour the ice cream base into the teppanyaki table. This layer should be thin (less than 1/4 inch thick). Spread the ice cream base so that it covers the entire bottom of the pan.

3. Next, sprinkle your favorite toppings on top of the ice cream base.

4. Chop up the topping with a spatula and place it in the ice cream.

5. After placing the topping in the ice cream base, place the sheet pan in the freezer for 4 hours. Ice cream has to be specially frozen to be scraped into rolls.

6. This step is crucial! Put the bowl and spatula you used to serve the ice cream in the freezer for at least a quarter of an hour.

7. Once your ice cream has set with your bowl and spatula, it's time to make some ice cream rolls!

8. Hold the spatula at an angle to the edge of the skillet and carefully push it forward to quickly scrape the ice cream into rolls.

9. If the ice cream needs a little help, use a butter knife to press the ice cream pieces into the roll.

10. Carefully place the ice cream rolls into the ice tray. Then, top with whatever you like – more sprinkles, whipped cream, fudge, caramel or fruit.

NOTES

1. For the best ice cream rolls, don't dawdle, start scraping as soon as the pan is removed from the freezer. This ice cream melts quickly, and you need it to hold its shape until you're ready to serve it in bowls for garnishes.

2. If you are struggling when scraping, make sure to keep the scraper or spatula at a 45-degree angle and scrape away from you.
