Teppanyaki salmon burger with citrus salad and curry aioli.

Teppanyaki! Teppanyaki smokelless table! And then there's the teppan Frikadellen + sweet potato hash, which we obviously love in the form of a meat Patty. It's time for us to use teppanyaki for one of the seafood. For these beauties, we also made citrus salad and curry mayonnaise, both in advance.

 

Toppings

To start with the salad, in a large bowl, mix 1 cup chopped greens and 1 bowl chopped red cabbage with 1 cup peeled, seeded and peeled cucumber and 1/2 cup seeded and peeled red bell pepper. Add 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1/4 tablespoon salt and pepper to taste. Mix the ingredients well and leave in the fridge for at least an hour.

Next up, curry aioli. Combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise with 1 teaspoon curry paste (red, yellow or medium), a little chilli or paprika, 1 lime zest and 1/2 lime juice. Stir the ingredients together and season with salt.

 

Salmon “Burger” Patties

In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 pound diced, peeled fresh salmon (we recommend using wild-caught redfish) with 2 tablespoons of tablespoons. Chopped ginger, 2 chopped onion stalks, 2 beaten eggs, 1 teaspoon. Salt and 0.5 teaspoon. Mix well with pepper, then fold into 1 cup of pumpercolate and set aside.
